Workshop on Subtitle Translation Techniques for Streaming Series and Films – Batch 2
Bangkok, 18 February 2024 – The Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS), under the supervision of the Southeast Asia Professional Translators and Interpreters Association (SEAProTI), organized the “Subtitle Translation Techniques for Streaming Series and Films – Batch 2” workshop on 17–18 February 2024. The event featured industry experts who shared their insights and professional experiences.

A lecture by Mr. Ekaphop Pawong, President of the Thai Subtitlers Society and the founder of the popular page “SubJorGa.” His session focused on the intricacies of subtitle translation across various genres, sharing practical tips and lessons from real-world projects.

A lecture by Ms. Putthachad Kuthong, Vice President of the Thai Subtitlers Society and a business entrepreneur specializing in subtitle translation and related services. Ms. Putthachad discussed professional ethics, career development in the subtitling industry, and the vast opportunities available in the rapidly growing market.
