“Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS) Launches Subtitling Techniques Training for Series and Movies – Batch 1”
Bangkok, July 30, 2023 – The Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS) successfully hosted the first batch of its training course, “Translation Techniques of Subtitling for Series and Movies,” at Palazzo Hotel (Ratchada), Bangkok, on July 30, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This annual training program aims to provide technical knowledge on subtitling to enhance the professional skills of translators. It also serves as a platform for streaming subtitle translators to network, share practical advice, learn advanced subtitling tools, and explore strategies for career development and business growth.
The Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS) is proud to support both emerging and experienced translators in advancing their skills and contributing to the growth and professionalism of the entertainment industry.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

กรุงเทพมหานคร, 30 กรกฎาคม 2566 – ชมรมนักแปลซับสตรีมมิ่งไทย จัดอบรมหลักสูตร “เทคนิคการแปลซับไตเติ้ลสำหรับซีรีส์และภาพยนตร์ รุ่นที่ 1” (Translation Techniques of Subtitling for Series and Movies) ณ โรงแรมพาลาสโซ่ (รัชดา) กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2566 เวลา 09.00–16.00 น.
การอบรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นในฐานะกิจกรรมประจำปีของชมรม โดยมุ่งเน้นการให้ความรู้เชิงเทคนิคเกี่ยวกับการแปลซับไตเติ้ล เพื่อยกระดับทักษะวิชาชีพของนักแปล อีกทั้งยังเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สร้างเครือข่ายนักแปลซับสตรีมมิ่ง แลกเปลี่ยนคำแนะนำการทำงาน การใช้เครื่องมือแปลซับไตเติ้ลสมัยใหม่ รวมถึงแนวทางการพัฒนาธุรกิจและการหางานในสายอาชีพ
