Training on Document Translation for Visa and Work Permit Applications

August 4, 2023, Bangkok – The Professional Translators, Translation Certification Providers, and Interpreters Society (PTIS), under the supervision of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), organized a training program titled “Document Translation for Visa and Work Permit Application Training Program.”
The morning session featured a presentation on “Translating Foreigners’ Documents in Thailand: Key Considerations in Document Preparation and Translation, as well as Understanding Costs and Profit Margins in the Translation Business for Foreigners” by Ms. Pathumwadee Poosittisak, Director of Wisdom Expert Co., Ltd.
In the afternoon, a session titled “Career Development and Job Opportunities with Fastwork x SEAProTI” was delivered by Mr. Pathorn Preechawit from Fastwork Technologies Co., Ltd.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

๔ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๖, กรุงเทพมหานคร – ชมรมนักแปล ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามวิชาชีพ (Professional Translators, Translation Certification Providers, and Interpreters Society – PTIS) ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters – SEAProTI) ได้จัดอบรมหลักสูตร “การแปลเอกสารเพื่อขอวีซ่าและใบอนุญาตทำงานของชาวต่างชาติ”
ช่วงเช้าเริ่มต้นด้วยการบรรยายหัวข้อ “การแปลเอกสารของคนต่างด้าวในเมืองไทย: ข้อพึงระวังในการเตรียมเอกสารและการแปลเอกสาร พร้อมเข้าใจค่าใช้จ่ายและต้นทุนกำไรในธุรกิจการแปลเอกสารสำหรับคนต่างด้าว” โดย คุณปทุมวดี ภู่สิทธิศักดิ์ กรรมการบริษัท วิสดอม เอ็กเปิร์ท จำกัด
สำหรับช่วงบ่าย เป็นการบรรยายหัวข้อ “ช่องทางในการหางานและการพัฒนาวิชาชีพ กับ Fastwork x SEAProTI” โดย คุณพธร ปรีชาวิทย์ จากบริษัท Fastwork Technologies Co., Ltd.
