SEAProTI Assists the Public in Dispute Mediation Process
On March 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), along with Precha Wacharanai, Secretary-General of SEAProTI, participated in the mediation of a criminal dispute involving embezzlement. This offense is categorized under Section 352, Chapter 3(1), which is a bailable offense, within the People’s Mediation Center. SEAProTI provided assistance and support to help resolve the dispute in accordance with the law.
This mediation process was conducted in line with SEAProTI’s objective outlined in Article 2.7, which focuses on offering legal support to the public and association members. As the value of the dispute exceeded 500,000 baht, it was handled under Chapter 4(1), which allows for mediation in cases that are bailable at the investigation stage.
SEAProTI remains committed to supporting and promoting alternative dispute resolution methods to achieve fair solutions and to encourage the effective application of law within the community.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

ร่วมช่วยเหลือประชาชนในกระบวนการไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาท
วันที่ 5 มีนาคม 2568 เวลา 11.00-13.00 น. คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) พร้อมด้วยคุณปรีชา วัชรนัย เลขาธิการสมาคม ได้เข้าร่วมใน กระบวนการไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาททางอาญา ฐานยักยอกทรัพย์ ซึ่งเป็นความผิดตามมาตรา 352 หมวด 3(1) ที่สามารถยอมความได้ ภายในศูนย์ไกล่เกลี่ยภาคประชาชน โดยสมาคมได้ช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนให้ข้อพิพาทนี้สามารถยุติลงได้อย่างเหมาะสมตามกฎหมาย
การไกล่เกลี่ยครั้งนี้เกิดขึ้นภายใต้ข้อกำหนดของสมาคม SEAProTI ตาม วัตถุประสงค์ข้อที่ 2.7 ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการสนับสนุนด้านกฎหมายให้แก่บุคคลทั่วไปและสมาชิกสมาคม โดยข้อพิพาทนี้มีมูลค่าเกิน 500,000 บาท จึงต้องดำเนินการภายใต้หมวด 4(1) ซึ่งเป็นความผิดที่ยอมความได้ในชั้นพนักงานสอบสวน
สมาคม SEAProTI ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการให้ความช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนการระงับข้อพิพาททางเลือกในรูปแบบต่างๆ เพื่อนำไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาที่เป็นธรรม และเพื่อส่งเสริมการใช้กฎหมายอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในชุมชน
