President of SEAProTI Serves as Arbitrator in Technology Dispute at THAC
On February 5, 2025, at 9:30 AM, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) scheduled a mediation session for a technology-related dispute, with Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), serving as the arbitrator in the conciliation and mediation process under the arbitration agreement.
This proceeding was initiated at the request of the disputing parties, who sought to resolve their conflict through arbitration—a dispute resolution method widely recognized at the international level. Arbitration is considered an effective approach, particularly in handling complex business disputes, including those in the technology sector that require specialized expertise.
As a distinguished professional in translation and interpreting, with extensive experience in the justice system and dispute mediation, Khun Wanitcha Sumanat plays a crucial role in facilitating discussions to help the parties reach a fair and legally compliant resolution.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

วันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 เวลา 09.30 น. สถาบันอนุญาโตตุลาการไทย (THAC) กำหนดนัดประนอมข้อพิพาทด้านเทคโนโลยี โดยมี คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ปฏิบัติหน้าที่เป็นอนุญาโตตุลาการในกระบวนการไกล่เกลี่ยและประนอมข้อพิพาทตามสัญญาอนุญาโตตุลาการ
การดำเนินการครั้งนี้เกิดขึ้นเนื่องจากคู่พิพาทมีความประสงค์ให้การแก้ไขข้อพิพาทเป็นไปตามแนวทางของกระบวนการอนุญาโตตุลาการ ซึ่งเป็นวิธีการระงับข้อพิพาทที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล และเป็นแนวทางที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับการจัดการข้อพิพาททางธุรกิจ โดยเฉพาะในด้านเทคโนโลยีที่มีความซับซ้อนและต้องการความเชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้าน
คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส ในฐานะผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านการแปลและล่าม รวมถึงมีประสบการณ์ในกระบวนการยุติธรรมและการเจรจาไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาท จะมีบทบาทสำคัญในการอำนวยความสะดวกให้คู่พิพาทสามารถหาข้อตกลงร่วมกันที่ยุติธรรมและเป็นไปตามข้อกำหนดทางกฎหมาย
