Congratulations to Mr. Preecha Wipawasut on Receiving the Mediator Identification Card from the Criminal Court
1 March 2024, Bangkok – The Southeast Asian Professional Translators and Interpreters Association (SEAProTI) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Preecha Wipawasut, Vice President of the Association, on being awarded the prestigious Mediator Identification Card from the Criminal Court. This honor was bestowed upon him by Mr. Suchart Suntreesakem, Chief Justice of the Criminal Court, recognizing Mr. Preecha’s exceptional abilities and unwavering dedication to advancing justice and dispute resolution within Thai society.
Mr. Preecha Wipawasut is not only a distinguished Vice President of SEAProTI but also holds several key roles in the legal and dispute resolution fields. He serves as a court mediator, an arbitrator both domestically and internationally, and an associate judge in Thai courts. With his extensive experience and expertise, he has played a vital role in assisting individuals in resolving conflicts peacefully and ensuring that the justice system remains accessible to all.
For over a decade, Mr. Preecha has devoted himself to serving as an alternative dispute resolution mediator at the Criminal Court. His steadfast commitment to helping people find fair and constructive solutions to their disputes has made a lasting impact. His work is widely recognized not only among those involved in the justice system but also serves as an inspiration to SEAProTI members and professionals in the fields of translation, interpretation, and cross-cultural communication.
The receipt of the Mediator Identification Card from the Criminal Court is a testament to the trust and confidence that both the court and society place in Mr. Preecha’s capabilities and dedication. The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

1 มีนาคม 2568, กรุงเทพมหานคร – สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ขอร่วมแสดงความยินดีอย่างยิ่งกับท่านปรีชา วิภวสูทธ์ อุปนายกสมาคมฯ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและบุคคลสำคัญในวงการวิชาชีพ ที่ได้รับเกียรติอันสูงส่งจากการได้รับบัตรประจำตัวผู้ประนีประนอมประจำศาลอาญา โดยบัตรประจำตัวดังกล่าวมอบให้โดยท่านสุชาติ สุนทรีเกษม อธิบดีผู้พิพากษาศาลอาญา ซึ่งนับเป็นการยอมรับในความสามารถและความทุ่มเทของท่านปรีชาในการทำงานเพื่อส่งเสริมกระบวนการยุติธรรมและการระงับข้อพิพาทในสังคมไทย
ท่านปรีชา วิภวสูทธ์ ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นอุปนายกของ SEAProTI เท่านั้น แต่ยังดำรงตำแหน่งสำคัญหลากหลายในแวดวงกฎหมายและการระงับข้อพิพาท ทั้งในฐานะผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยประจำศาล อนุญาโตตุลาการทั้งในประเทศไทยและระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงผู้พิพากษาสมทบในศาลไทย ด้วยประสบการณ์และความเชี่ยวชาญที่สั่งสมมาอย่างยาวนาน ท่านได้มีส่วนสำคัญในการช่วยเหลือประชาชนให้สามารถแก้ไขข้อขัดแย้งได้อย่างสันติวิธี และสนับสนุนให้กระบวนการยุติธรรมเป็นที่เข้าถึงได้สำหรับทุกคน
ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา ท่านปรีชาได้อุทิศตนทำงานอย่างต่อเนื่องในฐานะผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาททางเลือก ณ ศาลอาญา ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นที่จะช่วยเหลือประชาชนในการหาทางออกจากปัญหาด้วยวิธีที่เป็นธรรมและสร้างสรรค์ ผลงานของท่านไม่เพียงแต่เป็นที่ประจักษ์ในหมู่ผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องในกระบวนการยุติธรรมเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้กับสมาชิกของ SEAProTI และผู้ที่อยู่ในวงการวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการแปล ล่าม และการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรม
การที่ท่านปรีชา วิภวสูทธ์ ได้รับบัตรประจำตัวผู้ประนีประนอมประจำศาลอาญาในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นเครื่องหมายแห่งความไว้วางใจจากศาลและสังคมที่มีต่อความสามารถและการอุทิศตนของท่าน อีกทั้งยังเป็นการยืนยันถึงมาตรฐานความเป็นมืออาชีพและจริยธรรมอันสูงส่งที่ท่านยึดถือในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่มาโดยตลอด ความสำเร็จนี้ไม่เพียงสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นส่วนตัวของท่านเท่านั้น แต่ยังแสดงถึงคุณค่าของการทำงานเพื่อสังคมที่ SEAProTI ให้ความสำคัญมาโดยตลอด

สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
