แม้จะมีการผ่อนปรนข้อจำกัดในเรื่องกฎหมายกัญชา แต่ก็ยังคงมีความท้าทายหลายด้าน เช่น ความไม่สอดคล้องกันของกฎระเบียบในแต่ละพื้นที่ รวมถึงการขาดความเข้าใจอย่างทั่วถึงของประชาชนเกี่ยวกับการใช้กัญชาอย่างปลอดภัย รัฐบาลและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องยังคงต้องทำงานร่วมกับผู้เชี่ยวชาญและภาคธุรกิจ เพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาที่ถูกต้องและการนำกัญชาไปใช้อย่างเหมาะสม
ในอนาคต กัญชาจะเป็นหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมที่มีศักยภาพสูงในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ โดยมีการคาดการณ์ว่าผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ๆ จะช่วยสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับธุรกิจต่าง ๆ ทั้งในระดับท้องถิ่นและสากล
