จุดมุ่งหมายหลักของนโยบายใหม่

การส่งเสริมการลงทุนในบริการ Cloud Services
ในแง่ของการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี BOI ได้มีการส่งเสริมบริการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Cloud Services ภายใต้ประเภท 7.10 ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในธุรกิจที่ได้รับการส่งเสริมในนโยบายใหม่นี้ โดยกำหนดเงื่อนไขต่างๆ เพื่อให้ผู้ที่ประสงค์จะได้รับการส่งเสริมจาก BOI ต้องมีการจัดตั้งศูนย์ข้อมูลอย่างน้อย 2 แห่งในประเทศไทย ที่ได้รับมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 27001 และต้องเชื่อมโยงกันด้วยความเร็วสูงไม่น้อยกว่า 10 Gbps รวมถึงการใช้มาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 27001 ในด้านความปลอดภัยของ Cloud และมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 20000-1 ในด้านบริการ Cloud เพื่อให้เกิดความปลอดภัยสูงสุดในระบบ
การมีบทบาทของนักแปลและล่ามรับรองในการส่งเสริมการลงทุน
